prop suggestions 312 fastech
 

I have 312 fastech 1998. I put two new engine 500hp carb. I have bravo 1 gear 1.65. I want to know if anybody have suggestion for the prop set up. Thank you! :chimp:

Lucky bastard :D .....I've got the same boat/drives and want the same engines. Can't answer your question but I am running 30P 4 blade bravos with 415 HP 502's. Guessing 33P/34P

The boat had some chips/gouges in the bottom and "bad" props last summer when I got it. I rev 5000 and see 72/73 GPS regularly. Hope to get 1-2 more since the bottom and props have been fixed in the last few weeks.

I think the problem you are going to have with that gear ratio, is not enough prop. You may need to concider changing to a 1:50/1. With that you may be at a 32, otherwise I think you will be at 34 or better.
