Re: 357 guys, cabin floor pics!!!
building tomorrow, going off nothing, anybody got anything, is there a step, whats the deal with the floor down there!!!

Re: 357 guys, cabin floor pics!!!
what do you mean ? No floor? I can take pictures of mine even though it is stripped, but can't see what you are looking for exactly!
|
Re: 357 guys, cabin floor pics!!!
im assuming there must be some sort of floor that goes over the hull or fiberglass bilge area, wondering what it looked like, if there was a step over the bilge, or how low it is from the couch ledge

Re: 357 guys, cabin floor pics!!!
so you mean where you walk in the cabin it's in V shape right? No flat floor?
|
Re: 357 guys, cabin floor pics!!!
boomer slow down....dont go building yet..noone even knows what ur tlaking about....what you mean NO floor?
|
Re: 357 guys, cabin floor pics!!!
yea, if you walk in the cabin, there is a bilge right under the door, then in my case, it goes right down to the white fiberglass, im thinking from the way the carpet doesnt go all the way down the side, there must have been a floor there, Jeff, is your floor in?

Re: 357 guys, cabin floor pics!!!

Re: 357 guys, cabin floor pics!!!
Boomer. I see what you mean now. I'll take pictures of mine. In fact there is a step, made out of white kind of composite/plastic thing. The top of the step can be opened since there are hinges on it, so you have access to bilge where a bilge pump is installed and the hose for overflow from the a/c ends. I'll send you pictures before the end of the day...

Ok, I got the pictures so I post them now. If you have questions go for it. For the hatch hinges, I have both screwed on the boat. On the hatch, I only have the one on the right side of the boat, starboard I guess in english, since on the other side, the fiberglass corner is broken and non existant, so no hinge for that side.

Re: 357 guys, cabin floor pics!!!
the hinges on the boat are bolted through the deck. To be able to hold the nuts, you have to take off the last vent on the back of the boat then you see them. By the inside of engine compartment the only access is by a small venting round hole where your hands probably won't go. Mines are stuck from salt water so I'll try again tonight to try send them tomorrow. Let me know for the price I may take a complete set... Thanks.

here are the hinges I send you tomorrow. As I said I'm missing one. They are made out of aluminum. The top holes where the hatch was attached to are now more oval than perfect cercle. I don't have the screw or pin that was used so the hatch was moving up or down. Gonna have to find one!
