Lookin' good, but -
If you have a chartplotter, why bother with the speedo? Just put the chartplotter in the center, if you can. You'll have to make a custom-fitted spacer to accomodate the joggle in the panel, but it will free up a ton of space for the gauges. (Just a thought. I ditched my speedo for a engine fuel flow/data meter last year, and never looked back.) |

I'd just need a blank. I'm thinking about getting rid of the speedo, rearranging the gauges and putting in a chart plotter. I haven't measured or figured out what gps I will use yet. It's far down the list at the moment. Can your fabricator make a blank? Garrett |

Re: New 382 dash
Nort,
Just wonderng where you found the black rubber seal for the back of the dash panel you sent me. Formula or another supplier? Also is the panel powdercoated or is it paint? Thanks, Chris |
Re: New 382 dash
I picked up a boat mag today at lunch time. It has a new 353 on the cover. There are two guages and two LCD screens. I haven't had time to open the mag and it is in my trunk. I also forgot the name of the magazine already. :p I really like swinging needles on my dash, although I could give up the speedo. :)

Thanks, Chris I got it through McMaster Carr. I bought a spool of it. Do you need more? The panel is painted with baked enamel. |

I have a 95 model 382 dash panel and all of the switch panels for sale if anyone is interested. Also have all of the VDO gages. Any idea what this stuff may be worth?

I always like to know where to find stuff for future reference so I don't waste days on end searching when someone else already has the answer. Also want to help out our new brother Garrett with his dash. I truly appreciate your help with this dash project. Saved me lots of work and $$ too. If I get out that way again, dinner is on me! Thanks, Chris |

Re: New 382 dash
Garrett,
Don't know if Nort has another panel for you, but my fabricator here can do one unfinished without holes for around $150.00. Let me know if you want to go this route. Chris |

Put the fuel pressure guages back in to fill the holes. Just need to wire to senders on the fuel rail:
