Powder coat

I just picked valve covers and intake from my local powder coater. Almost matched the Merc blue perfectly :D . Not as much bling as my magenta intakes but sharp looking just the same.
Going on a 509" warmed over HP500 and then into my buddies 242LS. Next week or two it will be on the dyno with exact results. Looking for 525/550 hp. Should be easy ;) . All this should add another 5 maybe 6 mph to the 242 , I mean the PC alone should be good for at least 1 mph more :D |

I am getting ready to paint my new motors and prob will go with the blue ...I hate that it seems to be like alot of others but I really cant come up with another design ....my valve covers are polished and will prob keep those ....I do like the painted look though . I had planed on just painting the block and intake ...but PC the pullies and brackets ....m

Found out today the valve coves don't clear the poly locks on the Comp Cams stainless rockers :( . Did manage to did up soome retro Mickey Thompsons that did. First pull out of the starting gate with a 750 Holley got 531 hp @5100 591 ft lbs torque around 4000. Gonna try an 850 carb tomorrow :D
