Re: fastechs bow lift?
I did not know that the 292 was available with BBC. Is that a single HP500 or twins?

Re: fastechs bow lift?
Robert, would they build one?
Seems like it would be a great package, that or a 525. If I was gonna go back in size and # of drivetrains I would definitely investigate. Nice quality, single engine, more trailerable package. |
Re: fastechs bow lift?
No,Rippem. It was an experiment that apparently did not work well. The only one I know that is available is at Legendary in Destin. I really thought they would go forward with the project to move away from the 271 as a single engine model, but it was not to be.

Re: fastechs bow lift?
Thanks Thirdbird, That is the kind of info I need in finding the perfect prop. So if the fastech hulls have natural stern lift is that why I get my best top speed with a small amount of positive trim? If I trim it too high the prop gets too close to water surface & starts to slip? Depending on my drive ratio I have been told that my percentage of slip is either 17% or 24%. So I'm in the process of trying to figure out how to lower those #'s. Thanks again!
