I am kinda thinking of a radar arch on the 357. I also want to redo the rear deck over the engines to give more clearance for the superchargers. I just played a bit but would like to hear from other owners what you would do. if you have a paint program copy the file and be creative.

Re: Opinions
Their is a 311 that has a similar radar arch on Speedwake. (andretti 502)

Re: Opinions
Radar arches are so 80's!!! Unless you are going to use it for a radar there is no way I would put one on. They make it harder to get on and off the boat, you can hit your head, restrict visibility, let me know if you want me to continue :drink: :drink:

Re: Opinions
I will be using radar

Re: Opinions
Have to agree with Audiofn on this subject. If I ever had to consider this (for radar only), I would go with the stainless tubular kind and not the fiberglass.

Re: Opinions
I dont really like the tube arch. I do like that swim platform
|
Re: Opinions
I'm not really an arch kinda guy, at least not on a go-faster. Some are practical for actual radar but, I really don't need radar either :p

Re: Opinions
That was my boat !!! The arch was too tall. Used boat in Pensacola and radar was essential at nite because of shrimpers. I did plan to due a lot of cruising and spent a lot of time stayiing on boat. Idid use all that stuff and was glad I had it.
The platform came out great---it was made of starboard and seemed bulletproof. I was really pleased with it being right at waterline---was great for what I used boat for. Still have all the patterns and Autocad/CNC files to replicate it. |
Re: Opinions
Poorsche,
Didn't know you sold her ... |
Re: Opinions
Poorsche,
I too need the radar for night. Nothing like running over fishermen in bass buggys with no lights on. I sent you an email on the platform. |
