foam sheet

My 353 has a 1/4" foam mat that sits underneath the swim ladder when it is stored. It is glued in and is approx 19"x15". It has worn thru one of the corners and now my ladder vibrates at idle. I am wondering if anyone knows where I can purchase something similar to replace mine. I have tried Lowes, Home Depot, Hobby Lobby, etc with no luck.

Robert can get a replacement from Formula for me, so I can go that route if needed.

thanks
BD

Not sure that's the problem....I have a 312 with the same problem. I tried wrapping a towel around the ladder to seperate each section from the other......still rattled!!

Re: foam sheet

it was fine until about Aug of last year. I'll put something underneath it while we are idleing around to maks sure that is the culprit

yup. Sears.
or better quality (thicker) material may be had from a Snap-On or MAC tools guy?

or a smooth rubber tailgate mat and cut it to size. cheap...$30? and enough left for 2 spares...

I'm big on spares... :D

Sea Deck - Non Skid for boats

Last time I went out fishing I went with a guide that is a buddy of mine. We were red fishing and the weather was nasty to say the least. We had 35 mph wind gusts with rain flying horizontally into our backs. My buddy took a step down off the front fishing deck and fell so fast I didn't even know what happened. He ended up with a bruise the size of a baseball and so I decided to start looking into non-skid.

I looked at some other companies but kept hearing about SeaDek. I looked them up online and was impressed at what the non skid could do for me but how nice it cleans up the boat. SeaDek is made of non absorbent closed cell EVA foam specially formulated for marine applications. EVA stands for Ethylene Vinyl Acetate. EVA is known for the following characteristics.

It is highly flexible,
It delivers a high cohesive strength and compatibility,
ensures excellent adhesion to a wide range of substrates,
And is is highly resistant to rupture.

SeaDek will relieve the strain on your feet while you stand on your deck fishing, poling, working, or recreating. It will also protect your investment.

Some of the applications for suggested use are on fishing boats both offshore and inshore. Commercial fishing vessels. Ski boats, jet skis, wave runners and anything else that you can think of. This stuff will relived trained feet, protect your boat from anchors, wake boards, skis, and anything else that can threaten the surface of your boat.

We are really excited about this stuff and our having a custom SeaDek deck done on a beavertail skiff. We will write another article on that whole process later.

Chuck from Seadek is going to be giving us a tour of the factory and we will do a step by step guide to getting SeaDek on your boat. keep checking back for more info on that.

For now take a look some more pics and check back for more info on this exciting product.

We are also offering a custom SeaDek installation for all members who become a member of the forums. We are going to do a random drawing from our forum member list and the luck winner is going to get a free installation of SeaDek on his or her boat. The prize is worth $500.00

so get registered soon. You can click here to get registered in our forums!

We have seen this stuff called Sea Deck/Sea-Deck/Sea-Dek

All you have to do is see the logo and know its SeaDek
