Formula sent me the spec sheet and it says 61 mp/h at 5000 rpm with twin 454-420.

That's right where I'm at, so I guess I should not complain. I would consider upgrades but @ 20hp per 1 mph, I don't see it happening with out supercharging, and as I said before in this thread...no room with out ruining the hatch.

They are all full and the tab now works correctly. I had problems triming the outdrives. The tab markers all need to be adjusted. Plus the starboard drive moves slower than port drive really making it fun to adjust.
I am really considering changing the hatch and adding a couple of scoops. The Gaffrig flame arrestors are small and thin and I want to get more air in the motors. I am considering some large K&N Marine Filters on top of a stack in the scoops. |
