I need one also fro '89 311. Bought one several years ago for an '88 223 from Formula. Pricey little bugger it was, like 40 bucks. They're German-made as I remember. Keep in mind, for your bilge switch, you'll need a "momentary" switch. It's only on while you hold it on. That's what came originally.

I just have not persued the new switch. I'm sure Formula can direct us to a source.

Maybe MagicFloat knows.

My '89 272 switch clicks on and off and stays on as long as you like. I think your detent may be screwed up.

mine also stays on as long as you want it to and has been like that since it was new, I just replaced the blower switch with one of these

I want to upgrade all the switches probly next year but this will get me buy, I used a 1/8 (I think) inch drill bit to drill out the slide on connections to retain the factory screw on type connections, was a pretty easy fix and a lot cheaper than others Ive seen. I bought it at a local boat shop

WHEN MY BLOWER SWITCH WENT OUT I COULD STILL HOLD IT ON AND IT WOULD WORK

Guess so. It's been that way since I got the boat in 2000. I just assumed it was a momentary switch for the bilge pump so you wouldn't leave it on. Made sense to me. Just when you think you know something..............................

:o

Ditto :(

Mine SEEMS to be spring loaded too. Before you go and buy another , you might want to give it a little extra push. That's what I do and then it clicks and stays on
