HP 525SC Blown head gasket AND head !

All right I need some input. While I'm not the smartest person here, I've seen the inside of a few differrent type motor's in my time. But this one stumps me, never seen a chevy head fail this bad :eek:
Was runnin about approx. 4500, 66mph at a lake nearby and she just started barkin, pulled it back and she never ran worse!. Did some trouble shooting and yanked the head tonight........which brings me to my second delemia, I need a head BAD, I have a vacation planned this weekend and am willing to pull a few allnighters :stupid: to make it happen...........made some calls today and not much luck yet. Any info woud be appreciated. 1996 336SR1 HP525SC motors Starboard s/n F615821. |
