Hard Work, Independent Wealth, Good Inheritance. Chose One. First, I found mine sitting in a Wal-Mart parking lot with a For Sale sign on it. Owner wanted to unload it and the price was way below market value. Second, I had a small inheritance. Hard work (two jobs for almost 20 years) and going in debt up to your eyeballs is the usual way. At least that's the way I've gotten all I own. And everything but the house is paid for. |

hard work, get your priorities straight :D and it helps that banks finance up to 20 years

Re: How do you do it ?
Not everything here is worth a fortune (market value). Some were purchased at a depressed value for many different reasons. Lots are works of passion that the owner has, or is currently working on to make into an expression of one's self.
By the pound, :evilb: a boat is way less expensive than.... say a custom Harley :D :D :D |

Re: How do you do it ?
I dunno how they afford these new boats at $200,000+, either there is a lot of wealthy people out there or there is a heck of a lot of finance owing on these boats!!!
I got my 1991 311-sr1 for a good price, it needs a bit of TLC but generally a real solid boat with many years left. Trouble is i got to try and afford to run it....Oooops..forgot about that!! :D |
