take 'em off, wash em good w/dish soap and water, dry 'em in the sun, and spray 'em a couple of light coats (misting through the slots) w/ a good quality semi-gloss or flat white. Done.

I thought of doing that but didn't know if the paint would hold up. I'll give it a shot. I looked at some biollet replacements but they're pretty proud of them! THX
