My father has kept meticulous logs in his 34' Sea Ray with 454/340's and he says he gets an average of 22 gals per hour. I know they are different boats but it seems that the motors would work alot less pushing my 292 at cruise than his big ol' boat!

I know it doesnt sound right .....but I kept a log of all fuel and the hours on each trip ...was 3-400 gals .... but 22 is not bad at all ... I had always heard 40-50GPH .. glad it wasn't true ....:) I'll see if I can look up the info again ....m

Nice Boat, I think $26-28,000 would be the right number for the boat.

Hey RJ
Rambunctious here on friend waterfoul's logon

buy that boat before it sells !!!!

actually, that's my boat :D

regarding fuel. I estimate 60 gal /hr at WOT which is about 1.1 miles per gallon and 1.5 to 2 mpg at cruise ( 40 mph, 20 to 30 gal per hour

our "day" is usually not 40 miles of riding , that's why I figure on $50-75 for a typical day for us with the kids

I say go for it :evilb:

regarding black. it stays nice when you maintain it by waxing.
and the black is what makes it unique.
the buddies say they can see my boat from anywhere. it really stands out on the horizon. gonna be tough to find something else with colors that impress me like Rambunctious does..... I've been looing for 2 years

the modified silent thunder really does sound nice. buddies again commented once it was done. if you want it more subdued, It could be removed in 1 hr.

I made a video, some here on the board may comment on the video, I put the video to Kick start my heart by Motley crue. it is off my buddies server now but I could next day air a disk for you on monday if you want. it will sell you on the boat for sure and show you better the finish of the boat vs. static pics........

hope this helps and is not just a self promotion :D

Nice looking boat, and at $30K is a good value sitting on a triple axle trailer. I sold a 1986 242LS twin for $28,500 two years ago on a dual axle eagle. Great find!!!
