1991 223ls

I have a 91 ls with a 740 dp with 330 hp and want to make it go bump bump. I thought a set of ported heads a oversized cam and a rpm air gap manifold with some tweak to the carb and ingnition would savor my flavor for about 80 to 100 more horses and a gain of 10 to 15 mph would do ......? any cheap tricks.

well just about faast enough to pick up to 70ish and not kill my motor and outdrive . We live pretty well within our means but I am not afraid to step to the pay window . The boat is a fresh water boat in coeur d alene idaho and am at higher elavation but can tune to that .

I've got a couple cheap tricks for you... :eureka: Grab a tow from the Category4 Cat that's running around on the lake...you should hit 75 mph easy...You know, the one that keeps passing us up! Or, better yet, point your bow toward Harrison at 3:00 and the tail wind should get you at least another 10mph : :evilb:
