Boat cover for a old SR1...
Does anyone have a boat cover that will fit a 1990 292? I suppose one from a 311 or maybe 303 or even a 336 would work. Let me know. Lift is almost ready! :evilb:

formula,
I bought one for my 91 292 last year online. I seem to recall it was about $340.00, full cover, reinforced along entire perimeter, sewn in loops and straps supplied. I'll dig up the name of the place and send you a link. |

I've got a pretty good source too, about 400 bucks. I'll look it up tomorrow on my "work" computer. :D

It's a little confusing though. Which fabric would be best for a storage cover? It seems like the Poly-guard would be the choice. But, then again, the 11 oz Poly-cotton seems like it could "breath" better?
What do ya'll think? I don't want a glorified "tarp" put on my boat. I made that mistake ONCE and I'll never do that again! |

I wouldn't go with the cotton, big mistake. That stuff is similar to the old style canvas tarps. It'll reject water for like a week then just become a big, soggy spnge. Plus it weighs a lot.

I think the Poly-cotton is the one. I need one that "breathes".
