easy enough to make/start with a new panel out of material of your choice.
Gaffrig, Livorsi, and Floscan I believe make 2 in 1 guages. If you re-arrange, go without a speedo, and use 2 in 1 tach and/or other guages...you could make enough room for a 5" min. screen plotter I'm sure. Potentially larger than that. Just a thought. You'd spend a little money on this project but I think the result could be very nice.

Good luck.

No pics but I removed the compass and made a plate from starboard then mounted a gps unit to that. I can return the boat to stock if ever desired.

My sentiments to a "T". Far too much techno gadget wizzardry for my little elf brain to absorb. Man has navigated the seas for thousands of years, give or take a few, without these gadgets. So what exactly has changed in terms of going from point A to point B that makes these gadgets a "must have" today? Whatever happened to our spirit of adventure?

Now to me those great pics that RIP put up are what it's all about, and in reality, would anyone, looking out at that sunset really give a fock where their gadget said they were?

Props $2500
Outdrives $10,000
Hole in Hull $20,000

Ahhh....But getting there with BOTH outdrives intact, no prop damage, and a perfect hull....

PRICELESS..........

I have to agree. We do some long trips (one was 5 days and over 300 miles). I need to know where the channel is when I'm going somewhere I've never been and the markers haven't been updated in 15 years. Besides....the Chesapeake Bay can have 2 feet of water 1/2 mile offshore!

Hey, there's some weird guy in your gadget screen. Is that your "directions" guy?

that is clean but I woulda skipped the speedo. It's the only thing screwing it up visually.
