419 Fastechs
 

Anyone on here close to the factory? Will they/have they discussed bringing back the 419 now that there are so many companies making $$$ selling the 40'+ boat now. I like the 419 but one draw back is the trips for some people. With all the newer power options from Mercury, it would be cool to see them bring it back and offer 1075's, 850's or even 700's. If the answer is no, would than be willing to part with the molds or lease them out.

Talked to a local guy this summer and the 419 came up. He said he contacted the factory (around year 2000) about building a staggered twin engine 419. They weren't interested/couldn't do it due to the stringer system in the boat.

Even so, a 419 w/ triple 525's would stil be a nice boat. I guess it would have to have a twin offering to please more of the market segment like the 4300 Nortech.

Doller Marine is redoing a 419 just like that. Brand new 525, drives, and transom assemblies. The guy who's having the work done must have wanted a 419 badly.

I got one of the HP 500's that was originally in the boat.

Talked to the guy. Boat is getting (2) new drives (they were stolen). No a/c or genset though.

Scuba Steve - That boat has been sold. It was offered to me and once I found out who the previous owner was I passed. The boat was driven hard - really hard and needed a fair amount of work.

There was an older (steps?) 419 i saw on LG with tripple 502s.

I have a 419 and 4 slips away from the 419 mentioned above. You are right that guy has way too many boats and none are well cared for. Just my 2 cents

Always thought a 419 with twin #6's and 800-1000 H.P. would be the ultimate offshore boat.

The 419 is the Mac Daddy Formula. This one was in our boat club. Love those graphics too.

The 419 that Sun Sport had was'nt to bad the Hockey player might have been a little rough on her but she cleaned up nice, I was out on it one day two years ago in the roughest water I have ever seen on Lake St Clair, the ride was great and the triple Lingenflters ran flawlessly,The FORMULA quality really stood out.

My condo dock neighbor has a 1998 (I believe) 419 w/ trip 500HPs and his boat looks like it has maybe 20 hrs on it when in fact I think he hit 500 or close this summer. He has only replaced the upper gear in one of his B1 drives. He loves the boat so much he has made me want one. Iv'e got a 400SS but still want something w/ the comforts for the wife and kid while having some performance and I always thought a newer 419 would be perfect.

Hey guys,
I was talking to my local dealer here (Bald Knob Marina) a couple years ago and they said that although Formula doesn't have the F419 in the brocures anymore, they still have the molds and would consider a "custom build" on a boat ordered through their dealer network. I think the salesman's words were something to the effect of "Money Talks" !!:D

Cuda, thats' the paint scheme of my neighbors boat. That one and the Illusion graphics are the best IMO.

I've been told that Formula will not build a 419, maybe Magicfloat can clear this up.

It is derrian Hatchers boat . Played for dallas and detroit red wings. Boat sat in water many times. Just shrinked wrapped about two weeks ago. Bought new skater last year and boat was in storage last two years. Still has water line on it from two years ago. Drives were in fact stolen in november. Currently being stored outside. He also has one other boat. Any other questions pm me. I also have a 1995 419 HP 500s and love it.

Steve - there is a 419 with trip 500efi's at Stoneledge at LOTO. Not sure if it is officially for sale or not though.

Hatchers 419 may not be a 10 but it being all white its a easy clean up, plus the Lingenflters are at least a 50k upgrade and new drive's not a bad deal.
