unofficially sold, supposed to have a deposit this coming wednesday. I did not want to say it until I had the money in my pocket but since you've asked...

I'll need my hinges back for sure in a short period of time... Thanks.

yes, it was for a 357, but the one thing that has not changed on a formula is the hinges, any size boat, they are one hinge

Re: Birds and Hinges

If you still have the hinges then I could use them....

Re: Birds and Hinges

I'm gonna pass on the bird emblem, but what can I expect out of the hinges? I know my sunpad seems a little flimsy on those hinges. But I looked around there and I noticed that one hinge seems to be loose. Tried to tighten it but it looks like the bolt is turning; don't see how to fix that yet.
Got any pics of the hinges?

Do the hinges look like these? I was looking for a couple when I was redoing the F20, and couldn't find anything anywhere like them.

yes cuda, they look jsut like that, only i modified them a little bit, extended the steel where i felt it could help in stiffness of the pad. all the bolt holes match existing demensions.

on this pic i welded the 90 degree angle, on the new ones i had them bent to increase strenght and looks

Boomer did you recieve my money yet? I sent it over three weeks ago and have not seen anything yet.

Boomer35 09-24-2008 03:13 PM

ive still got Birds and Hinges left if anyone is interested, i just pulled them out of a moving box last night! forgot i had them, the hinges are night and day compared to forumlas, much more support. pics in post 15

email scb24(at)hotmail.com

and for the above post, i never did recieve his money, but in good faith i assumed he shipped it and i sent the birds anyway, one of the down falls to asking to mail cash!

Prater 09-24-2008 04:15 PM

The hinges are tempting, but I think I am goint to cut the swimdeck in half and open them like a fountain. Much easier to work on and I have to redo the swimpad around the scoops anyways.

sent you a email with no return adx, [email protected]

Boomer, Sent an e-mail through the site. If you didn't get my money, I want to make it right.

Boomer35 09-26-2008 01:08 PM

hey macjazzy, i appreciate the offer but its not a big deal at all, i trust you sent it, and being it was cash, im sure whoever got it spent it! the only reason i even mentioned it above was i didnt want people thinking i was taking money for the stuff and not sending them out in a timely mannor!

Boomer35 09-26-2008 03:47 PM

macjazzy-

i just got your email as well offering to pay again, i really really do appreciate it, like i said, i know you sent it, either i or the post office lost it, but i really appreciate going out of the way to pay again, your definitly a stand up guy

macjazzy 09-26-2008 03:50 PM

No problem, I also didn't want people thinking I stiffed you. I'm not sure I remember, did you aks me to send cash? I don't think I would have normally done that. But if I did send cash and you didn't ask for that it's on me and I owe you some money. Just let me know either way.

BTW , Love my extra 'Birds. Thanks

Boomer35 09-26-2008 03:52 PM

nah, i asked for cash, it was under 20$ so i figured it was worth the chance, i wouldnt do it for larger amounts, its all good though, glad the birds worked out for you!!
