lol would make using the head enjoyable though

Thanks for the pic. That is one spot I've thought of but didn't want to give up all the storage space that would be lost behind the microwave. Once I decide what to do I'll be sure to post the info/pics. I'm slowly converting this thing to a cruiser  :D . Just added an inverter for the TV and have a canvas top ready...considering full enclosure.

Has anyone considered using quality cabinet hinges for placing a flat screen tv over the existing tv hole? My idea is that you could flip up the tv and use the space behind for storage. This would include a locking device which would keep it locked down along the bottom.

I am working on that flat screen idea now. I ordered a magnnvex 15 " LCD this tv only needs 12 volts to run. As soon as its comes in and i mount it i will take some pic's:drink:

You can keep the discussion here, it's a cabin modification and still relevant for 382 owners. Besides, the microwave ideas has died out. That's a project I'll tackle once the current only craps out.

This winters projects were:
-re-build engines
-new trailer
-service outdrives, replace skegs
-inverter mounted behind the TV so it works on the water
-gelcoat repair to the bottom

The only thing left is the install the engines and have the gelcoat done (scheduled for 2 weeks from now!!!)

Done, but I made an entirely new panel from 1/2" plexiglas since the hole was not the right size or shape. I hinged the TV/DVD from the bottom rather than the top. I also used the 1/2 plexi for the electrical cabinet door. Gained TONS of storage room where the old monster TV/VCR used to live.
