I found a guy here in Phoenix that is doing some new acryllic pieces for me in the cabin. He also got me a piece of 0.40" PVC board for $80. I got quite the education. Here's what I found.

Polyethelene board is super easy to work, with difficult to glue, and is what is used by restaurants for cutting boards. I think it was about 2 hundred for a 4x8.

PVC solid sheet is very heavy as it is solid PVC and is fairly expensive. Didn't get a price.

PVC board w/ air mixed in is much lighter, not as strong, but still glues very easily w/ PVC glue. Very easy to cut and use a router on. This is what I got.

FormulaM2formula,
I am needing to find out more info about the PVC board w/ air mixed. I am trying to find a supplier close to home so I don't have to pay shipping.
Do you have a brand name or company name that you purchased from?
Is 1/2 thick enough to use for the sun pad and dose it hold well with screws?

Thanks,
scott
