242 upgrade
 

Hello for everybody in Formula family



I'm from Finland and last summer i accidentally end up buying Formula 242 LS -88 with 502 Efi and Bravo 1/Mirage 21p .
Then i start surfing Internet, what a hell i have bought and found this offshoreonly site.
I have to say i have enjoyed reading these topics for hours and hours, you folks have VERY nice boats .

I was glad to notice that i have bought a classic.
In Finland we don´t have so many 242's

Ok, now because the boat needs upgrades to keep it in nice condition, i need to look for some parts.
The boat original engine was 454 but the last owner upgraded engine to 502.
The engine is in ok condition and i just accidentally bought Procharger M1 set from Ebay.
I dont know why accidents happens to me so offen but we live only one time anyway, so

I have few/meny questions for my upgrades.
Its a stock 502 engine with original parts.

1. I can't have dyno time so what is important, what i have
to look careful when we bolt on the Procharger.
The set includes aeromotive pump.
2. Prop, now have old 21p Mirage -> ?

Finn, Welcome to the board. There is alot of great information here. You may want to put this question in another Forum and you will get lots of help. I do know one board member Knookster has had some very good luck with your set-up. But be very careful.
