give or take I think like 11-12K retail on 353
they are cool to look at out of the water, and add a couple MPH in most cases but they do require maintenence and a watch for leaks as well as they can be a PITA hanging around the back of the boat kind of a wash. If they are there take 'em but I wouldn't place much if any additional boat value in them. |

Definitely a learning process, keep looking and keep good people around for advice. I probably have total trust in the opinions of about 5 boat related people, 3 of which I share a boathouse with, one a local dealer here who's never led me astray, and one guy in Alabama who's hopefully got his eyes open for me.
