Garmin GPS Antenna on 382
 

Hi Gents,

I need to replace my Garmine GPS antenna which is mounted right next to the outlet/plug for the white anchor light, with a Northstar antenna. Getting to the antenna from inside the engine compartment is a major pain. Does anyone know how the Garmin GPS antenna is attached?

I'd prefer to remove the Garmin antenna and put the northstar antenna in the same place, but could drill a new hole and put it on the other side of the anchor light.

Anyone pulled the Garmin antenna off before?
