Hi I own a Formula 311 - SR-1 1987 Hull wich is in getting customized as we speek new Bullet 540 HP engines, and a lot of new custom Stuff I will be posting pics of the process.

Nice looking boat, I miss mine. TRS drives? while the motors are out good idea to get new cables if not done yet

Contact Formula and they will give you the part numbers (lengths) to look for. They are by far the best manufacturer to deal with when it comes to 80's boats, they have everything you could imagine on file. I do not remember which brand I got for my 89 311 but contact your favorite retailer and they will give you the good-better-best manufacturers to choose from (is it Mcloed thats best???) they just need the lengths. also if you still have round drive rez bottles throw them away and get the pretty after market or the late model square style. If you are not leaking yet you will soon! How are your drive/trim pumps? Bam marine is great for bottles and pumps by the way..

Hey CMG THanks for your help but actually I changed all the cables in my boat 1 1/2 ago when I bought the boat and replaced almost everything also I Rebuilt my original engines 454, 420 HP and have them in perfect condition just want more power. I did replace the bottles also thaks for your help.

looks good....why do they use seperate switches for the docking lights? ......do the newer Formula's?

Both older Formulas I've owned have had separate switches for the docking lights, I think they would overload a single switch.

My 86 357 also has them on seprate switchs

my buddy's new boat has a single switch

Its a great boat, I like it a lot, and down here actually things are much differrent than in the us mainly because there is almost non supply of sport boats mainly fishing so things sell really quick, My friend sold last week a 30 Intermarine boat 30 Foot with two outboarts Mercury 200 Outboards 1992 Year for 29 K with almost nothing inside so I know for my boat went I want to sell easily will get 45K getting most of my investment out I got the Hull really cheap and came with a Hangar in nice club that tripled its prices since i got it so I thought it was worth the upgrades. For sure is a keeper for a couple of years till I can buy my next boat hopefully a cigarette 39 top Fish
