311 Question - What is it?
 

I was installing a new stereo in my 311 and the radio antenna lead fell down behind the cabinet. I reached in through the storage space above the refrigerator and I was able to grab the cable, but while I was feeling around back there I found a cylinder with a screw top mounted on the back of the wall.

I twisted the top (mind you, this is all being done by feel) and some oily stuff kind of oozed out, not a lot, just enough to get on my hand. What is this thing?

Bob ... I think there is a tank that has something to do with the water pressure system ....I pulled the fridge out during my rewire and noticed it ...kinda like an air tank on your house water pump .... I think .... :)

Now that's a real possibility. I've never used the water tank since I've owned the boat and I bet that stuff is just some antifreeze in the system. Thanks, Mike.
