floppy deck on 223 ss

Looking for some feedback-
Have an 88 223 ss, the deck has always seemed very weak, it visibly flutters up and down running through chop, and flexes underfoot. It looks to me like the SS extentded cockpit forces the elimination of a cabin bulkhead present on the LS versions.

Help me out are all 223 SS's "just like that" or do i have some sort of structural issue?

Wasn't too concerned at first, used to Sea Rays, but compared to a Cig something seems very wrong.

Thanks-

Yes you will have some flex. I have a 242 and have some flex.

Thanks for the input-

Overall boat is great, best large purchase I have made yet, flexy deck was the only thing that made me concened.

The deck on my '78 233 flexed a little when I walked on it, but I'm pushin' 280lbs.
So I added some spines while it was upside down, and tabbed the deck to the hull
