Yeah, I figured I'd catch some flak for the boat name but I really liked it and thought, 'Hey, if I'm paying for the boat I'll slap whatever I like on the transom':D

I've done some great open water boating...just getting outside the Golden Gate can be a wild time; cross-currents and rollers are CRAZY underneath the GG unless the tide is at the swap point. unfortunately good video is hard to get out there unless you have a second boat that can keep up in the rough...or a helicopter.

I'll keep working on it this summer though. Just learning to use the digital editing software so while the boating in the vid may not be particulary exciting or challenging as crushing 4-6 footers @ 70, it was fun to mess with the editing stuff.

Wish the fuel for the boat was as cheap as the film is for my digital camcorder....

Nice video! Boat was moving when you came out from under the bridge. What engine package you have in your 292, 6.2's or 350's?

Thanks! I have the 6.2 MPI's. Everything is stock except for the removal of the S/T which upped top-end from 70 mph to 72 (GPS). I attribute that to less weight over the props rather than any significant improvement in exhaust flow. Did add some punch to the exhaust note, though.

I see coast guard it's all about flipping that Captain's Call switch :D

Great vidio! Nice boat too. What props are you running? I have a stock set of 28's on mine. Thought of maybe trying a set of stock 26's, but the 28's give me a good mid range.

Thanks, LW.

I'm running stock 28p B1s. I can bounce the rev limiter pretty eailsy, so when I add CMI E-top headers (hopefully soon!) I'm going to try a set of 30p B1's.

I do have a set of 24p B1's, but those are strictly for Lake Tahoe use where the thin air robs some power and I'm going to be towing tubes (or anyone skilled enough\crazy enough to ski behind me) :D
