tow with cockpit cover?
Just a quick question. I have a 292 and was wondering if people tow with their cockpit cover snapped on? Thanks for any advice.

No problem on mine either. It also helps protect the windshield, and from what I've read here about them they are very expensive. Also keeps all the road crap out of your interior.

I put a strip of shrinkwrap tape across the front edge, but that was to go 400 miles...

Been wondering about this since I tow about 100 miles each way everytime I go out...always with the cover stowed b/c I wouldn't want to have it unsnapping underway.
Glad to see this is something others are doing - like it when something is proven. Thanks all. |

I had trouble when I first bought my boat, the cover would come unsnapped in front of the windshield. So I replaced the cover side of the snaps and haven't had a problem since.

It will do fine
