We did all of our boating in swfl. We have had it for 1 1/2 years. The boat originally came from up state new york.
Great boat but I wanted something faster so I bought my motion. My father wants a CC.

Downtown42 07-24-2007 03:19 PM

Thanks! I thought the same thing when we bought the boat. They are called Infra-Blue. It is very rare, only about 3 or 4 boats have this color package.

Nice looking boat, and the graphics are killer. Its a shame I can't afford to be a 2 boat owner. I'd ask if ya wanted to swap it for my 04 27pc except my lady would probably castrate me.

Boat is still for sale! A bimini top was recently added. Boat needs nothing but a new owner!

Beautiful graphics. If it was a 35 I'd be very interested. 38 is a little too big for me as I will be trailering and the channel at Havasu has a 36' limit.

Well here is a little update. My father decided to buy me out of my half of the boat and is going to keep it for him self. He has been using it almost everyweek and has really enjoyed the boat more and more. So the formula is staying in the family!
This weekend we decided to paint the drive, tabs, and then detail the entire boat. Here are a few pictures.

The formula doesn't have a trailer. It stays on a covered lift behind my parents house. We used the forklift to put the boat on a rack.

jeff32 09-17-2007 08:23 PM

yeah. everybody owns a forklift at their parent's house!:violent-smiley-045:

LOL! I should point out that my father is the service manager at Gulf X Marina here on Fort Myers Beach, so we were able to bring the boat down there to work on it. I wish I had a fork lift at the house. Then I wouldn't have to trailer my boat.

I Love you boat. The graphics are awsome!!!!!! I am new to OSO and was wondering what you were selling it for? Trying to figure out what similar boats are worth? Thanks.

It won't go 100 with 540's in it. It would need 850's to do 100....end of story. Someone has got a REAL fast tow rig!

Dave

I may be takiing it for a sea trial and will let you know. I will take a pic of the GPS Speedo! If it does close to it, I may start to think about it. I also found out that it has 572's and not 540's.

Just to let you know that this boat has been for sale for over a year and a half. I remember seeing this boat when I was looking for mine. Looks like a nice boat and you should be able to pick it up for a good price.

PowerBoat Magazine tested the 382 Fastec with Merc 700's in it and they only report a top speed of 96 MPH.

This 1998 382 has 540 bulldogs and Prochargers. It was listed and discussed here on OSO 4-6 months ago. I believe the guy wanted something around $190K for it...we all told him that was WAY too much.

My 2002 382 has 540's in it now but I bought it with 500EFI's and 8 PSI Prochargers. I hit 95 with a reported best of 98 before I picked it up. If he's got the boost up around 8 PSI then 100 isn't that far off.

got twins ? 10-10-2007 09:38 AM

I missed the Pro Charger part Why would they not have pictures of the engines in that ad??
