I still think the 272 is probably one of the best all around bang for the buck boats out there. Great gas mileage out of small blocks, tune 'em up a bit and you've got an easy 60+mph boat, plus a little room downstairs for people to get out of the weather. Go nuts with 383 strokers, Bravos, and trim the hook out, and you've got a very mean sleeper.

One of the reasons 242 SR1's are expensive is because they are a smaller boat with nice stuff, twins, and bolsters, they have alot to offer for a 24 footer, easy docking since it is a smaller boat, that means chepaer docking, better on gas, and the cool factor, I agree, a 272 can be bought woth the same money, but the 272 will require a bigger dock, tow vehicle and more fuel, most dockage cut off is 25 foot, then you need a 30 ft slip for anything bigger then a 25 footer.
Bottom line, if you like it and can pay the money, its on you, I would offer 14,000.00 just since the market sucks right now and see what he comes back at.

The olders Formulas can have stringer issues, have a survey done.

1993 252 Bowrider

Does anyone have any opinions what value of a 1993 252 Bowrider would be? Has a 7.4l. Want to know if there any any known issues... What the value would be of a 'clean' boat. Have not seen it yet so I am sparse on details but want to make sure I have the right questions in mind. Thanks!
