357 power steering cooler mounting ?
 
I had to rebuild the starbord engine in my 357. When I pulled the engine I found the bracket for the power steering cooler in the bildge.(part # 14 in this link http://www.mercruiserparts.com/Show_...9%2DR10%29)Can anyone tell me or post a pic of were it is mounted. I found old holes in the outside stringer but I can not get the cooler to fit and it will only move so far because of the power steering lines. I am wondering if some one hacked up the lines. I have had to fix quite a few hacks done to the boat.:angry-smiley-044:

here is a picture. I can't look at my boat right now but looking at this picture confirmed what I thought. This cooler is on the back of the engine towards the top. I'm also pretty sure because if you look at my picture, on top of engine on the left you can see the 2 hoses for the pwr steering... Let me know if this is not enough info to solve your problem...

the 2 hoses are right beside the white engine oil filter. cooler is just below distributor.
