Range of 382

What is the range in mileage of a fully fueled 382 run at cruising speed?

I am wondering how far one could go in average conditions before looking for fuel.

I can't wait to get my new to me boat. I am already planning the maiden voyage, and the trips I want to take next season.

My 2000 weighs 12,000 lb with genny, A/C, etc and gets almost exactly 1 mpg. Common practice is to leave 25-30% reserve, so (based on a 195 gal tank): 136 to 146 miles.

I also have a 2000 - 382 w/HP500 EFI's and I see about 1 mpg I can usually go about 175 miles and then I am fueling up.

Actually, I AM running 600's. (Volvo/Innovation 600's - no blowers!)

Deal should have been finished by now. My banker was not experienced in a sale like this, and after a week admitted this to me. Plumberscrack has put me in touch with a company that is helping the bank handle the transaction, mainly the coast guard stuff.

To top it off, my wife is 8 1/2 months pregnant now, and I can't leave the state to pick it up. Looks like I may have to get it hauled to me by Bigchuby.

Thanks again Brian. Sorry for the delay.
