I took it off years ago, and it's just sitting around. It has no cracks and still has the oval-shaped rubber flappers. Come get it in Port Deposit Maryland or pay shipping, and it's yours!

I'd hold onto it if I was you.
With so many states enacting noise level laws you just may need to reistall it to stay legal. Or spend big dollars for mufflers.

Hey Chuck, I still have to deal with the ya-hoo's up in Grand Haven on exhaust issue. I've got until 6/15 to demonstrate I've corrected db. Mulling over options which include doing nothing. 496's w/ silent choice.
I have wondered about the silent thunder and if I should consider it. It appears my boat had it at one time.
Do you think your 382 box would fit my 353?

Judging from other posts it seems like a lot of people are removing ST. I am happy with my Capt's Choice but it really cuts top speed and I assume fuel economy. I was thinking of installing ST for the lakes and rivers around here, but I am wondering if that is wise.

Since I can't find the higher style platform for mine , my current one is under going a transformation to clear the hydraulic steering. Took 3 1/4 inches off the center exhaust pod. It's almost ready for the gel coat:evilb:.

Here's what was cut off along the crease just below the exhaust tips. Oh yeah , baffles had to go too:cool-smiley-011:
When it's done it will look stock with the exception for being able to tilt the drives all the way up.
