Formula Guard Warranty Transfer

How difficult is the process to transfer the Formula Guard warranty?

Here's the thing, the warranty is up the beginning of June 2008on my new to me 292. The season doesn't start for me until early to mid May, possibly late April (Global Warming). Is it worth spending the 50 bucks to transfer the warranty for a month of use. Say I don't transfer it, is there a way around it that I can still use the warranty if something should come up?

$50 to transfer? Why wouldn't you? That to me is piece of mind and 2 months warranty ($25 a month...less than $1 a day) It would only take 1 problem to make you wish you spent the $50.

True, I registered the boat on Formula's website. They said they would send me the paperwork necessary to complete the transfer, if there was any warranty left, which there is.

I having the boat looked at in March too to see if there is anything wrong with the engines. I'm having my marine mechanic pressure test the engine to ensure there are no leaks mid to late March. The dealer "said" they did, whether that's true or not, it would put my mind at rest knowing that I had it done and everything is alright.

Spend the fifty bucks, if something does turn up under inspection you'll be covered.
