Great rate for 311's ...... From Boat US
Think they would knock off 50.00 for a group rate ?

100,000 liability ??..... you can do more damage by hitting one boat at the marina nowadays....this is not a good policy.

Something is wrong..., I had cruisers for 10 years before the Fastechs and BOAT US rates, coverage, and claims service can't be beat on those types of boats. Even having been a customer for 10 years with multiple boats they wouldn't touch the Fastech's when I bought the first one. (One agent admitted they outsource that coverage completely). I'm suprised they even sent this to you cause it's obviously not their bag.

For every boat I have owned I checked Boat US 1st, and they ALWAYS were the worst!!!!

Were you a member of BoatUS and trying to insure a cruiser. Non-members and faster boats get terrible rates compared to the above.

800K spill coverage?
somethings whack with that quote in more than 1 way. |

Mike,
Didn't initially respond to this thread thinking it was a joke. If you're serious, that's insane!! My '89 311, full coverage except for the silly spill premium, $530.00 per year, not six months, per year. State Farm. In my experience, wherever you have you car policies will be cheapest. Dave |
