Thanks! personally I have seen 69 mph on GPS with a light load. With four people and full of fuel and gear it is closer to 65 to 67.

Thanks! I have always liked the colors on the boat. Formula calls this paint scheme "Infra Blue". In 1998 most of the 382's I have seen were the "Infra Red". The infra Blue was very rare. I believe there are only 1 or 2 1998 382's in the country that have this paint scheme.

Don,

Your father's boat is gorgeous, very nice and equipped just right. Has the boat always been in Florida and is he the original owner.

Thanks! The boat was orginally sold to a gentelmen from NY where he used in in the finger lakes region (Fresh water). In 2003 or 2004 the boat was brought down to Miami becasue the owner moved from NY. We bought it in 2005 from the orginal owner. It was serviced and stored indoors at the formula dealer in Aventura. We brought it over to Cape Coral where now it sits on a covered lift. The boat is by far the cleanest used 382 you will find. If you are in the market you should come by and take a look at this one.

The only reason he is selling this boat is to build a 32 to 35 ft CC with two of our 3.0L High Output Diesel Outboards. If it wasn't for our company and trying to get into production he wouldn't be selling his boat.

Thanks
Don

Nice to finally put a face with a name. It was a great day to be on the water.

Right before you got to the ramp I almost got into a fight with a few guys on Jet skis. They were 3 hispanics on black yamaha jet skis. They cut me off 4 time on the river while heading back to the ramp. I mean they were close within 20 to 30 feet from my bow. I gave them the finger. They followed me back to the ramp and we almost went at it right on the dock. By the time it was all said and done they had like 6 or 8 of there friends there. It was intertaining.

My tailgate is another story. I am still in the process of getting the body work perfect. I built the tailgate myself this time and removed the handles and made it smoooth. Once the body work is flat then I can put the stripes back on. I have the stripes at home. Jay (jayboat) made me a new set about a month ago.

See you out on the water!

Same here.

That ramp has always been a source of entertainment to say the least. Actually, I'm getting to hate that place. I feel like the minority whenever I'm there, no one seems to speak English at the Yacht Club anymore. We had a bunch of little Hispanic kids playing IN the ramp getting in the way when we went to load up to go home. When I politely admonished them not to play there, I was met with puzzed looks and non English responses. Sheesh.

Fox 4 TV was there earlier in the day doing a spot on the canal cleanup, and I'm pretty sure that was you I saw you in the background launching. Just think, you're a local celebrity! Now we just need them to do a feature on your diesel outboard development.

We'll look to see you on the water too!
David
