292 Fastech Battery
 

Can anyone confirm that the port side battery on an 02 292 Fastech is the battery that runs all the accessories, and the startboard is just the cranking battery for the starboard engine.

Confirmed - A service shop recently left some breakers on and killed my port side battery. :mad:

I had to bridge both batteries before anything would work.

Hey Split I have an Interstate port side one year old loaded out fine on a regular load tester but failed using my Mid Tronics.Should still be under warrenty.But I put a Deka back in.If you want it its yours

Thanks Tim, but I picked up to brand new interstate batteries. My buddy works at a dealership that gets interstate batteries. Got a group 27 deep cycle & a group 24 XHD cranking battery at dealer cost. So I got both for what you would pay for the one deep/cycle, pretty good deal. They got a two year warranty on them too. Put them in last night, and started her up for the first time, turned right over. Only issue I'm having is with the port side trim tab, it ain't working, starboard works fine, gonna work on it on Saturday. Gonna switch the lines to see if that works also gonna check the wiring at the switch. It's making contact at the pump but ain't budging. I can hear it bubbling when I hit the up button, but down does nothing.
