deck ripple 402

Hi all, I'm looking at a 402, early 80's. At the front of the deck, there is a concave ripple in the glass. It's noticeable. The owner tells me this is a common problem on the 402's. I've never seen one before. Is this indeed common, and if so, what is the fix?

is it above any walls that are in there.. Wow 311 to 402, big jump.

It might be above the very front wall. I haven't seen it in person. I was thinking the same thing, maybe the wall had broken, or something like that.-

Most 311's have a crack or ripple on the deck, right above the front wall of the head enclosure. I bet there is something similar with the boat you are looking at.

My 402 has a slight concave dip in the deck on the port side where there is nothing there to support it from underneath. I dont think its anything to lose sleep over.

On the 402, there is a section of wall that supports the deck right before the v berth, then after the vberth there is a small access door that opens to access the dock lights, cleat, etc.

One things for sure, the 402's ride like a caddy.
