Hydromotives on a 382 Formula?????
 

Anyone tried them? I will be prop testing all weekend and have a set to try.
Motors make 630hp, 700tq, no boxes, XR drives

Hydro p5 (not the X) 30P box stock...what should I expect?

other are:
28 Maximus labbed and cut to 15.25
30 Maximus that been worked over and are probably a "29"
30 Bravos
30 Bravos (labbed)
32 Bravos that are slightly under pitch

I don't think the 5 blades are for you....they break vertical shafts on bigger powered boats with conservative X dimensions.

I know they load up the drive more but 525efi 382 Formulas come from the factory with 28 Maximus props now......but they do have boxes. Would boxes make that much of a difference?

Boxes would make it more wet... deeper bite.
Let us know how it runs, I do see your running a Fastech bottom so its not to wet to begin with...my bad.
