Hi Cold Sweat,

Did you buy the red/gray 357 that was for sale in Jacksonville? If so that was one super clean looking ride. Hope that small set back wasn't anything too bad...

Just trying to take some of the guess work out it, I'm sure someones done alot of prop changes till they find which runs best overall, lets face it, it's not a race boat, but it sure is nice.

Hey Cold Sweat not to change subjects but I from Cokeburg...
And now reside In North Carolina. I put a 4 blade on it and call it a day my 271 had a 3 blade on it when I got it switched to a 4 blade and never looked back.

Small world, I'm also from Cokeburg. We did buy the boat from Jacksonville, a really clean boat, we are working out the issues with the original owner who is willing to help us out. Really nice people in Jacksonville, but really hot! Thanks for all the replies, this Formula is a nice upgrade from our 29 Fountain. If anyone is interested in an older Fountain, she's
for sale. It is also a very clean boat and runs perfect.
I'm leaning toward a 4 blade, can't wait to get this thing back on the water, thanks again.

I would try a 23-24 Hydromotive Quad 4X. It will help with stern lift and that is what the 357 needs most. Good Luck!

Thanks for the info, that sounds like a good place to start
