271 fastech Superchargers and speed
 

I am planning on buying a supercharger for my 2000 271 with the 502 MPI. What kind of supercharger are you running and what kinds of speed can you see. I heard that whipple is the best????? Thanks, jeff Wurl

whipple is the best. I got a 250 b&m w/ 1050 dominator runs 5 1/2 # boost. My motor is low compression though, and built for the supercharger. 78 with out trimming up and full 106 gal of fuel and 20 gal of h2o

My quesion WHY ! not build a motor big enough for the speed you think that you may want , by super chargeing a motor your takeing life out of your motor at higher rate of time and speed pluss you just dont throw a super charger on and not have to change many other things , Bigger motor longer Life Less Problems ! 540ci and up ! :cool: :evilb:

$ probley that was my problem the supercharger was bought w/ the boat. So I had many of the parts Block, supercharger, dom, eagle h beam rods.
