If nobody here knows you can call Formula technical support. I had the same question for my 292 Fastech and I called them and got an answer immediately.

I don't know but the cables usually have a length in inches stamped on them......

Hey if you have your head under the hatch today I need to know how long the engine hatch screw lift is - I have to replace mine but the boat is 20 miles from here

Shift cables are not the same length as tab and drive cables. Better call Darryl at 260-724-9111 to be sure.

James 09-02-2008 02:45 PM

True - each is a different lenght - drives & tabs - the p/n's above are what I pulled from and replaced on my 96' 382 - the last number is lenght in inches

I guess you are talking about indicator cables for the outdrives and tabs ?
I thought baja36ft asked about the gear shift cables.

James 09-03-2008 05:29 AM

Phazar - you are correct, Baja36 did ask about the shifter cables -

C_Spray 09-03-2008 01:50 PM

t500hps is right. The length in inches is the last number in the part number, and should be stamped right on the existing cables.

First 5 digits - Cable style/model
Next 3 digits - Cable thread size (003 = 3/16")
Next 3 digits - Overall length in inches
