Engine cutting out above 4600 rpms

..Ok 06 292 with 6.2s when running at WOT port engine cuts out for a second and tach drops about 2000 rpms. This happens very fast.If you back off to about 4 gs goes away. What I have done
Switched coil.TPS manifold pressure swith and water pressure switch with know good ones still same problem.
Changed primary and secondary fuel filters no help.I'm thinking fuel pump is losing pressure at high rpms so thats were I am at now what do you guys think? Also these engines have the Gen 3 cool fuel system that water cools the pump the housing and fuel was in my opinion hot compared to the starboard side.I removed the hoses water came out hooked a hose to one side and got a nice flow.So I am back to the pump is bad and running hot trying to maintain pressure.Your thoughts please

Rather than just throwing parts at it have you considered putting a fuel pressure gauge on it and checking first and spend the money and let the dealer put a scanner on the engine to make sure its not an electrical issue?
Also consider the possibility of a vapor lock.

Just wanted to list the problem so if any one does a search at a later date.
It ended up being a break in the injector harness were it feeds to the #7 injector. This was difficult to find because it did not do it all the time.My first thought was it was ignition but some other threads with the 496s doing this leaned toward fuel issues. When I could not find a fuel problem I just started from scratch and checking things again.Turned out it had nothing to do with rpm but the vibration at speed
Moral of the story always keep going back to basics
