Mid to low 70's????

A picture of the boat is on the brokerage section of www.offshore-performance.com. Haven't tried the boat yet but nevertheless have bought it.

Nice boat!!! I had the pleasure of climbing around Phantom Chaos's boat the other day and man those things are nice!!!

I have the same boat.
73-74 with full fuel in salt water at sea level. 75-76 with low fuel. That's with labbed 28" props at 5,300 rpm, or 30" labbed props at 5,000 rpm. No difference in top speed, but obviously cruise is higher with 30's. About 1-2 MPH slower in Lake Michigan than Sarasota. |
A photo from yesterday............

2001 with boxes and FULLY loaded (including generator)
I see about 77-78 on the Pacific and about 70 degrees. |
PhantomChaos
Beside the boxes what else are you running on the stern
Drives? Props? ETC. My 2000 382 runs 72-74 with generator and stock setup @ sealevel on Sacramento River Delta |
Hot Water
I'm running Bravo 1 four blade 28 labbed props and XZ drives. The XR's suck up HP.

Wilgie.... Wlecome to the Formula Family. Great looking 382! Some day my 312 will grow up to be one!
PhantomChaos.... GREAT looking rig. This setup may look better then your 312  The Palms in the pix's are killing me. Live from 28Deg Cincinnati  |
My 2001 382 500 EFI, no boxes, no generator ran 74.8 (GPS) with stock 28 p Bravo 1's and 77.8 with the props Lab'd. Both tests were with one driver, 40 gallons of gas, 75 degrees, in salt water. Regards, JB:)
