I think this is the quad-rotor 1200hp per side 382 with B-Max drives. If it is, it used to be painted Infared before the make over! It was on my radar about 5 years ago!

B-Max or Arnesons? We've been waiting to see more on this one... :D

Hey Robert...Hannah's new 35 is a beauty!!

This has been my Sience Project for the past few years...my wife calls it something else.

This is the GT Performance Quad Whipple boat.
I bought it about four years ago with 9 hours on the engines.
painted it two and half years ago...then installed the Arneson ASD-7's after breaking about a dozen drives...drives were installed about 2 years ago and really just now getting it dialed in.
The steering was the main issue....I'm now on the third set up since installing the Arneson's. But they got it right this time...the boat really handles great. I have it propped to run about 110 on the limmiters...I have had it to almost 109...fast enough... the boat accelerates like a rocket.

I will post a few more pics of the drives, etc

You sold one that ran 98...........but now it only manages 85 :party-smiley-004:

Magicfloat 11-25-2008 08:38 PM

I had honestly forgotten about how well your boat ran when it had the Hesco killer Procharged engines. But it was also a Bravo Drive killer with all that power.Guess your current set-up is a better family fit:ernaehrung004:

Magicfloat 11-25-2008 09:13 PM

BTW,for those that like the classy look( as I do )of Kevin's and C-Spray's boats, the Flagship graphics(in several colors) are available as a factory option from Formula. You won't find it on an order form,or on the website, but it can be done. Ask your local dealer,Basically,it is the same as the SS Flagship graphics, and makes for a classy Fastech.

I'm still pushing the envelope....although I reduced HP nearly 200 (to 630), I'm making close to the same Torque (700 ft/lbs).

I keep a spare XR laying around just in case!!!!!

Now that is a video! Really high quality (especially over the internet) nice shots, not to crazy music.

Wow, it was a big file but worth it.

axapowell 12-03-2008 12:48 PM

How about the individual video for just this boat? Did they do one?

Dave

I know....I contacted you guys a couple years ago about the ASD7 conversion kit. Once you consider steering, etc, it's really not a bad deal if your rigging a bare hull....seems that entire set-up isn't much more than XR's and Steering if all had to be added from new. But the cost to convert just isn't in my cards.
