Good luck with the sale...

As a former Fountain owner, I can honestly say I made the right choice by going to Formula!!! Don't think I would ever own a Fountain again...that is if they stay in business...

Shamless... can I ask you why are the Fountain bad? I hear good and bad about them. I hear the 33 and 35 are bad... bad ride etc. However the 38's and 42's are very good. Any opinions??? :ernaehrung004:

Not saying they are bad, just that in every aspect, the Formula is better.

Plus, how long will Fountain be in business??? Things are really up in the air over there.

Just wondering, which Fountain models have you owned?

Things in the boat biz world are not good for any manufacturer right now, Fountain AND Formula both no doubt included. What makes you so sure Fountain is going away anytime soon?

Rippem 01-06-2009 05:52 PM

uhh oh...
here come the fountain police...

calling you out for your opinion, in the Formula forum no less.

What difference does it make to which models I have owned?? If you read again what I said...I dod NOT say Fountain was bad, just that Formula is better in basically every aspect. I have been on just about the all the models except the cruiser series. I have a very extensive backround in the marine industry and now own a business in which I have to crawl around every square inch of a boat. If you do not know what is going on at Fountain, I suggest you do a bit of reading, they are not good at all. And yes, I do have access to more then just what I read...

Hardly the case. Just an interest in the background for the opinion. Not having the knowledge of all things great and small, such as yourself, some of us must ask a question here and there in order to understand.

It's a simple question. Actually, two simple questions, that's all.

I new there would be some rebuttal as soon as Ragged saw this. :hitfan:

I just don't understand why AXA isn't reccomending this one...

Pop in and ask a simple little question and I'm the bad guy. I have no issue with Shameless, his opinion, or his choice in boats. Just asked a couple questions.

Rip on the other hand is simply trying to make it into something it simply is not. Rip is Rip, what can I say.

Maybe I could change my name to Porters Pal and get one of the bird avatars........................... Tell me I didn't say that.

Me either! His tip on buying AXA stock has worked out pretty well for me so far. And it was in the chitter as well when the tip was thrown out.

P.S. I do recognize that chart. Looks like most others these days. Just glad I don't have to count on charts to make a living, probably be depressed and cranky.
