As bad as the market is right now,,good luck with your sale, asumable would make it a whole lot more attractive ,,but it is a damn nice looking boat, I love the silver on the interior. I want another 292 but right now I can't pay someone to buy my 27pc with 50 hrs on it that I bought from Magicfloat a couple of years back.

Just curious... what drove you to the 27pc and now back to wanting a 292? I anticipate keeping mine for a looong time, but you never know...:cool-smiley-011: Thanks.

You're not allowed to upgarde, haven't hit your 5 years yet.

You might be waiting a long while for that one. Slap the for sale sign on it and go out and enjoy it, hope when or if the market turns around someone will be interested in it.

Thankfully I don't "NEED" to get out of it...I just want to move to a larger boat...but ya, with this market..things are a biotch to sell. Only takes one though right!!

Just a thought here. Have you talked to any dealers? Many are looking to move some inventory and you might find someone willing to make a trade deal that would be palatable. If you are looking larger it means a smaller boat, lower price, less on floor plan for a dealer. Worth a shot.

RaggedEdge is absolutely correct. The loan is probrably not assumable and if it is on the Escape program the payment may be going up. Find out your payoff and contact a dealer that has a boat in stock that you want. That will be your best bet.

i wanted to try something different in boating for a while, for the last 30 years or so all I ever had were performance boats of one kind or another till I bought the PC from Magicfloat. I pretty much only use my boat as a weekend getaway at the local freshwater party spot on the St. Johns river, and the generator and a/c are a welcome change along with all of the other assets for a weekend stay, but due to my laziness as far as towing and cleaning, I'm giving serious consideration to selling my house, using the equity to buy a houseboat to live on so my living expenses would be drastically reduced (at Holly Bluff Marina I can rent dockage with full privilages for about 500.00 per month with no yard to mow/property taxes to pay etc) and buying another 292 to run up to the party hole for the day on. I'm still in the early stages of analizing all sides of this before I jump in with both feet, but I'm 55 years old and have never saved a dime towards retirement and I'm trying to line myself up to where I can afford to live come that time in my life, besides my yard is an acre and a half and taking care of it is a PITA.
