I also had a 1986 f 35-7, and I have left 1 set of stainless marine exhaust that I never even tried... did they have stainless marine exhaust back in these days or they were newer exhaust ? maybe I could use them now????

Also thinking switching for newer exhaust, for the affordable way... When I bought the boat, the damage was already done. Plus the water ports between the tail flange and risers were clogged with scale from 20 years of no maint. Gota have water flow thru the exhaust or the engines over heat. If you have the pre gils, change the gaskets. you can still buy them if you get a part # and google it. If you need it, I can get the part # for you. |

If I were in your shoes, I'd buy a set of Stainless Marine manifolds/pipes. 5 year warranty. You can't go wrong with Stainless Marine, they make great power and last forever.
