what this post has to do with step plates is beyond me???

gotta be the alzhiemer's/more bourbon than he can handle combo. At least he's puking on this thread instead of the side of his boat...
wouldn't a more direct route for you be pouring the bourbon right into your (an) a$$hole?
children are given tylenol rectally for quicker effect...

BTW- having seen the first set of step plates in Dave's boat, I gotta say nice job bringing this together man!

Step plates

I took my step plates to a local industrial powder coating company in the Austin, TX area. They offered to put a clear, hard powdercoat on for $30 for the set. Best of both worlds...high polish, minimal maintainance!!

I received mine last week and just got them back from the powder coat shop. I just got the boat back from Shogrens shop yesterday and am going to the Ozarks tomorrow, and just finished installing the plates a little bit ago, so its all coming together for vacation. Anyway, here are the pictures of my plates.

Thanks Dave, these are a great addition.

How do you like them? They look good!! Did you polish them first, or just powder?

Dave

No I didn't have to polish them:grinser010: They completed all of the prep work light sand ect.. and powder coated them. Cost $40.00. I like em. Only had to drill one hole. The rest all matched up. Thanks again Dave they look awesome!!!!

The interrior red doesn't match the exterior red for powder coating. Wish I would have matched the red on the vinyl versus the red on the outside of the boat. Oh well.

i think possibly they would have looked good the vinyl colored gold also, the color would have "flowed" around off the back of the seat

I think the boat is sharp and has enuf colors going on... I would have done what Dave did and just shined those bad boys up! That's what I'm doing with mine. I also ordered the trim plate, handles and stainless cup holders from Bill @ Diamond Performance.

Putting together another order....Anybody interested, PM me!
