I didnt notice any difference, and by the way, I didnt mean I LEFT the broom handle up htere, it was just a test to make sure that is what it was bewfore removing them. I ended up replacing them with the Corsa muffler tips.

my 91 242ls ran 74 gps last weekend with four adults and 3/4 tank of fuel . with a mild comp blower cam and srp pistons with 7.5 lbs of boost on my standard bore 502. this combo with a little head work and some inconel valves should be around 600-650 hp . i can pass alot of boats on the water but not to many fuel stations !!

This was a great boat in the late 80’s and 90’s that used to kick a lot of but. There were not a lot of boats that went 70+ MPH. This boat was a real sleeper, it is a SUN and Sport and it all fit under that rear bench seat (1/2 inch to spare over the Holly carburetor float adjusting nut).

I have a 1996 382 and I think I have too much back pressure on one engine, motor is weak above 4,000 rpm, I have checked everything else out, what is inside of the silent thunder ? Can a piece of fiberglass break loose or delaminate restricting flow ? Does anyone have a picture of the guts ?
